therapy or other inner work.

 Fire doesn’t disappear
because you’re burned out.
It fades when adaptation becomes a way of life.
You learn how to manage yourself.
How to stay reasonable. How to keep things contained.
It keeps things steady. It also dulls forward motion.
Because stability without direction feels empty.
And understanding yourself isn’t the same as moving again. No amount of insight brings that spark back.Â
